Mike graduated from the University of Akron in 2016 with a degree in Culinary Arts. Mike has been cooking professionally since 2014 in several kitchens around both the Youngstown and Akron area.  While living in Akron Mike noticed how impressive the Food truck scene was there and he realized that he wanted to bring that culture back to Youngstown. During the summer Akron holds a Food Truck Friday event where local food trucks would come and set up shop in downtown for several hours. This is where the Idea of The Frytanic began.  The name later followed, after throwing around several ideas the idea finally came to him.  He was getting opinions about the names he came up with when a good friend said "What about The Frytanic?" Instantly he loved it as well as the people who he told.
